The Initiation Council of the Serbian-American Medical Society cordially invites you for its First, Inaugural Congress of the Serbian-American Medical Society which will take place September 13th, 1992 A.D. beginning at 11 o'clock in the morning in the small conference room of the Serbian Brotherhood Help Hall in Lake Villa, Illinois.

1989

The Inaugural Congress of the Serbian-American Medical Society took place on September 13, 1992, at the Serbian Brotherhood Help Hall in Lake Villa, Illinois. The agenda included opening and closing prayers, the election of a working committee, discussion of suggestions, and the election of society leaders. A lunch for members and their families followed the Congress, accompanied by entertainment from the orchestra of Novica Negovanović and Voja Vesić. The event was organized by the Initiation Council, including Ilija Srećković, MD, Branko Marinković, DDS, and Dragana Čupić, MD.

September, 1992

On September 13, 1992, SAMDS was founded at the Serbian Brotherhood Help, with 45 physicians and dentists in attendance. Its goals include supporting young Serbian doctors, providing free medical services to those in need, and expanding across the U.S. Key leadership includes: President: Branko M. Dragišić, M.D. Vice President: Dragana Pupić, M.D. Secretary: Dragan Jovanović, M.D. The assembly was honored by Metropolitan Irinej’s presence and speech.
